Child Development Associate (CDA)


Here is your opportunity to be at the head of the class! Register now for the Child Development Associate (CDA) sessions that begin May 1, 2022. 
This 120-hour course studies the intricacies of early childhood development, explains how to create lesson plans, and reviews the basics of classroom management. The Essentials Manual and Workbook are included in the course fees as well as portfolio guidance and management and test prep for the final CDA process. 
Upon completion of the course, you will receive the 120-hour CDA Certificate to be used to complete the online profile for the Council for Professional Recognition and complete the process for the final CDA Credential.

This course will be offered Face-to-Face and as a webinar. This fall, look for information on our all new Spanish CDA Class!

CDA Course: $550
Includes the CDA Essentials Manual and the Competencies Guide, 12 Face-to-Face courses with instructional support as needed, access to the canvas page for resources and homework, and one-on-one mentor sessions to complete the CDA process.

City of Savannah CDA Partnership

The Moses Jackson Advancement Center (MJAC) has partnered with us to offer FREE CDA classes to City of Savannah residents in an effort to provide a higher qualified staff for an understaffed workforce. Cohorts begin each quarter and fill quickly. For more information, contact the Moses Jackson Advancement Center and review the criteria for eligibility. Private Training Requests​

Schedule a 4-hour or 6-hour training day for your staff on location. All courses are state-approved and taught by one of our experienced trainers on location at your site with full audio-visual aides. Choose from our approved course list or design a course for us to submit for approval. 
Please allow at least 2-4 weeks when scheduling the sessions and provide at least 2 dates for consideration. 
A minimum of 20 staff are required for private, onsite sessions. 
Pediatric CPR and First Aid and Fire Safety can also be added to the sessions for additional fees.
