Georgia has several opportunities to earn your CDA Credential for FREE if you meet these criteria:

CDA Class Details
The CDA program of study includes 120-hours of Georgia State Approved Training taught in 12 face-to-face or webinar based courses with relevant homework assignments. Portfolio support sessions are provided weekly on site and by webinar to maximize success.
CDA Test Prep sessions and the Essentials Manual are also included with this course.

Online Classes
Online classes are self-paced, interactive opportunities to earn the 120-hours needed to apply for the CDA credential. The course is paired with the Essentials Manual and provides a comprehensive program of study to include portfolio support via weekly webinar meetings.

More CDA Information
The 120-hour CDA class is the first step in earning your CDA Credential. Once the course is completed, candidates must apply to the CDA Council for a final observation and exam. The final process requires a $425 fee made payable to the Council for Professional Recognition. There are scholarships available for this final fee from DECALScholars and other sources.
