State Approved TrainingCore Content ClassesThe classes below are all state approved training sessions taught by a Georgia state approved trainer. All training sessions are confirmed via email when you register and again the week prior to the training date. Combine trainings throughout the quarter for discounts.
All classes are 2-Hour sessions unless otherwise indicated. Credit for up to 8 hours can be obtained at the Sweet Summertime Conference when certain classes are chosen. Sweet Summertime Conference Classes: $50
Health and Safety OrientationThe Health and Safety Orientation session is presented in two parts (morning and afternoon) to complete the full 6 hour course. Participants must complete both sessions to receive certification. If Child Abuse training is needed as well, a link will be sent prior to the face-to-face conference and completion verified prior to the end of the session.
Class time for the Orientation course is 8:30am - 12:30 and 1:30pm-3:30pm. Health and Safety Full Day Class: $50 |
Health and Safety SessionsAdult/Pediatric CPR/AidRed Cross CPR is offered in two formats to conveniently fit your training needs.
Face-to-Face This session is 4 hours and includes instruction and skills sessions combined. Class Time: 8:30am-12:30pm Online with Skills Set This session consists of approximately 3 hours of online coursework completed on the Red Cross site prior to the conference and a 1.5 hour skills session on the conference day. A link from Red Cross Sales Force with instructions for logging in to complete online coursework will be sent following registration. Complete the online class and email the certificate or have it ready for visual confirmation at the skills session Skill Set Times: 9:00am 11:00am 1:30pm There is limited space in each skill set session. Please register early. Sweet Summertime Conference: Add an additional $30 for CPR Certification Stand Alone CPR Classes: Adult/Pediatric CPR/AED/First Aid $80 Adult CPR/AED/First Aid $70 Fire SafetyRequired for all childcare employees in the state of Georgia every 3 years. Review how fires start, spread and what to do when an emergency involving a fire occurs.
Session 1: 8:30am-12:00pm Session 2: 1:00pm-4:30pm Fire Safety and Classes: $50 Creating an Emergency PlanLearn how to create good outcomes from emergency circumstances. Review and design plans for emergency evacuations, weather emergencies, and other situations that require immediate decisions if they occur. Plan for the worst so the best outcome is achieved.
This is a 2-hour session that is state approved for Administration and Teachers. A Bright From the Start Emergency Plan Template is created as a result of this training. Group Enrollment?
